Markets and gourmet finds
If you love markets, this route is a tasting menu. It starts at Ledru-Rollin, right by the Aligre market, one of the most popular in Paris, crosses Bastille and its big boulevard Richard-Lenoir market, then moves to the left bank, skirting the Jardin des Plantes at Jussieu. It ends at Place Maubert, where the market sets up several mornings a week. Come early and bring a shopping bag: this isn't a route for just looking.
