Served by: RER C, Transilien H and J.
Did you know?
Ermont is attested in 835 as Ermedonis viculus, perhaps from a Germanic name, Ermido. Eaubonne, from Aqua bona ('good water'), reportedly owes its name to the quality of its water; the present form appears in a charter of 635.
Anecdote
Eaubonne's Hôtel de Mézières, built for the lord Le Normand de Mézières (lord from 1762), has been a listed historic monument since 1976; Ledoux worked on the village's town planning.
