Did you know?
The origin of Frépillon's name is unknown; it is attested from Gallo-Roman times (Frepillonum). In 1239 the fief was acquired by the nuns of Maubuisson abbey, at the initiative of Queen Blanche of Castile.
Anecdote
On 21 March 1915 a Zeppelin on a raid against Paris flew over Frépillon without dropping any bombs.
