Did you know?
Jouy-en-Josas is the home of toile de Jouy: Oberkampf founded his manufactory here in 1760; later, Léon Blum spent his last years here and is buried in the town.
Anecdote
As a Protestant family, the Oberkampfs could not be buried in the parish cemetery: their gravestones were moved in 1982 to the garden of the Pont de Pierre house.
