Les Noues: history and sights
Served by: RER D.
Did you know?
Named after the Grange des Noues, a farm built by Cistercian monks on a site given in the Middle Ages; the present barn and house date from the 17th–18th centuries.
Anecdote
Goussainville's Vieux-Pays, emptied of its residents by the arrival of Roissy airport in 1974, became an almost ghost village; in 2009 Aéroports de Paris sold half of it to the town for a symbolic 1 euro.
