Served by: Transilien P.
Did you know?
Nanteuil, 'Nantolium' in 1005, means roughly 'clearing in the valley'. Saâcy, 'Sacy' in 1299, probably comes from Saccius; the abbess of Jouarre was its overlord until the Revolution.
Anecdote
In 1729, an outbreak of plague struck Saâcy, and a pilgrimage was established to commemorate it. The village was also known for its bone combs and buttons.
